About Me

I specialize in using Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help people more deeply understand their internal world and move towards feeling more aligned in themselves. I am level 1 trained via the IFS Institute and have been a Program Assistant for Level 1 IFS trainings.

I also use frameworks from psychodynamic therapy and feminist relational cultural therapy. This holds our relationship, your history, and systems of oppression as central to healing.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking, finding local swim spots, baking bread, and playing with my two cats.

How I Work

IFS is a non-judgmental approach to understanding ourselves, the internal world of parts within us, and has the base assumption that we all carry a core sense of self. Our work together will be to help you reconnect, or connect more often, to this sense of self, while learning about the different parts of your internal world that want to be heard and understood. This will be through exploring your somatic and cognitive experience combined.

We’ll spend the first few meetings talking about your current life, your internal and external world, and your history. We’ll decide where you want to feel change and where you want to learn more about yourself. We’ll check in every so often to see how the work is feeling.

Issues I Work On

Professionally, I have worked in a variety of settings including group practices and college counseling centers. I am drawn to working with people who are existing outside of societal norms, especially gender/sexuality, neurodivergence, and/or the intersection of the two. I also work with people with complex relationships with their families, people with social and relational anxiety, and people exploring decision points in their lives.
